AI Is Creating Jobs. That Wasn't the Pitch.

AI is creating a new services economy around deployment, while most AI apps still struggle to justify existing as software.

Tokens for the poor?

AI is creating jobs.

That is a big switch from “AI is taking jobs.” The new jobs are forward-deployed engineers and implementation teams.

Most AI apps suck. They do not do shit. There is no real use case. There is a lot of vibe-coded slop.

The consulting business is the product

Corporate America gets bad ROI when it deploys AI alone. The workflow is unclear. The data is a mess. Nobody wants to own the failure.

The answer is the Deloitte approach. Sell the transformation. Staff the account with forward-deployed engineers. Charge for the work between “we bought the model” and “it works here.”

This is how you sell AGI when the ROI is too low for companies to deploy it alone.

Who the fuck invests $40 million into this?

And yes, it is dead.

Codex to ChatGPT Work is so good

I am allegedly pushing 5K on the hundred-dollar plan. The screenshot says $4,994.48 in 30-day cost and 5.4B tokens.

Shout out to Tibo for the resets. It is hard to say what the real costs are.

The rumor on the streets is that Chinese labs are saying “fuck distillation” and just jacking US work. That is a rumor, not a sourced claim. But nobody is better at copying products than the Chinese, and the feedback loop is getting very short.

What is this AI ads maker supposed to be? Just use ChatGPT. It is far better.

Bubble.io is officially dead

Bubble has been dead for the past year. It is now over.

AI is faster and better. Bubble did not keep up. It is dominated.

This is so good:
